The land is located to the rear of Moss House Farm approximately 1.5 miles North of Kirkby in Furness. Ulverston lies approximately 6 miles to the South East and Kendal is approximately 28 miles to the North East.

From Kirkby in Furness take the A595 heading North then turn left onto the road with “Weight Limit” sign, continue passed Meadow Bank Farm then bear round to the right to Moss House Farm, after exiting through the yard you will see the access track heading straight on the left hand corner. Please leave your vehicle at the entrance to this track and continue on foot.

6.94 acres (2.81ha) of amenity land upon which are found a variety of hardwood trees, shrubs, bracken and ferns. To the centre of the land is a peat bog.

Boundaries consist mainly of post and wire fences which are in good condition. The Western boundary comprises of thick bracken and two ditches.

There are two electricity poles upon the land.
